Laser Eye Surgery

Hi, I am planning to do vision laser correction. Anyone who has done it and which clinic ofer best service?

Best in terms of service and prices. My vison is bad without glasses and I needed it to be dome before christmas. How much per eye.

Depends where you live. A doc that did my eyes and I used to assist in surgery is the best ( in my opinion of course)

Look up Newman Lasik Centers, I can’t remember the website but it will be easy to find he has a few centers on the West Coast.

My eyesight is getting really bad, how can I get my mother to take me to the eye doctors?

I’ve been asking her to take me to the eye doctors for months now, but every time shes says that she will, she laster makes up some excuse why she can’t. I understand that money is tight right now, but its getting to the point where It’s effecting my school work [I'm in summer school right now] like there have been times where i have given up on assignments due to the fact that i can read the board to see what I’m supposed to do. I feel so helpless when I can read something. I just want to cry, what can I do?

Tell the teacher, and when the teacher tells you to tell your mom or dad, let her know you already have told your mom and don’t be ashamed to tell your teacher that you guys don’t have money for glasses. Your teacher probably knows a way to help you get glasses for low cost, and can help your mom by telling her too. I’m not trying to get you to "tattle" on your mom, but apparently she’s not taking your needs into consideration. If you cant do your school work, then she needs to figure out some way to help you. The teacher can have a conference with your mom, and let her know what she needs to do for you.

Most importantly, you need to let your teacher know so that he or she doesn’t think that you are becoming a bad student because you are not trying, let the teacher know that you have a problem. They are there to help.

does anyone have experience with having eye problems, not graves disease associated with thyroid disease?

I have dry eye, itching, burning, eye aches and blurred side vision, and was told it is from my thyroid levels. I had my thyroid removed.

Wish I could tell you that you are different from the rest of us, but you are not. I had thyroid cancer and the eyes have not behaved normally since. The doc thought I was crazy, but I know I am short sighted when at my age I should be long sighted and it is the removal of the thyroid I think that did it

I wanted to know the best eye specialist in Nagpur & Hydrabad?

I have a problem of less vision of my left eye, I consulted local eye specialist (doctors) in my place but they have different views, some said catracts and asked for operation & some said vision lost. I am in confusion. I wanted to be sure the exact problem so that i can take right treatment.

Less vision in one eye may be due to a defect called "Lazy Eye" and has no remedy, once you cross age of 5 or 6 years.The other reason may be due to cataract and is perfectly curable. You may consult Dr. Mahatme at Nagpur.
