What do eye doctors think/do when they get a patient who has improved their eyesight without artificial means?

And don’t tell me it doesn’t happen because every optomotrist I’ve talked to has experienced this from time to time. Mostly they say that the last prescription was too strong. I have students who have improved their eyesight, but I direct them to eye doctors who are open to natural eyesight and are less bound by their training.

likely there perscription was wrong or they have trained there eye muscles a bit better?
