B) "TESOL Certification" Course (60 Hours)

Please note:
Correspondence students are required to fulfill a teaching component
(certified teachers or people with previous teaching experience are
exempt). This teaching component involves 2 hours of observation and
5 hours of teaching in a language learning environment/school of the
student's choosing (volunteering at a language school, volunteering in
a public school with ESL students, tutoring an international
student/person, etc.). Information/suggestions for locating a
practicum setting are described in the training manuals.
Correspondence students may choose to complete the 20 hour final exam, at no additional expense, found in their manual. There are no time restrictions for this exam, so students may take as long as they want to complete the exam.
Most correspondence students who choose to complete the 20 hour final exam submit their assignments for the 40 hour certificate and their answers to the 20 hour final exam at the same time to the 
office. If the assignments meet the requirements and a passing grade is obtained on the final exam, the student will receive a 60 hour TESOL Certificate.
Tuition: $700.00 CDN * (All materials are included with
this fee.)
Please note: International registrations are to be paid in $US. Thus
the tuition fee for a registration outside Canada will be $700.00 US.
